Energy Balance During Transition

TRANS-ENERGY

With Trans-Energy as part of a feeding program, dairy producers can help ensure their animals are receiving all the essential nutrients they need.

Trans-Energy Developed for Optimal Nutrition at Crucial Times

Through advances in nutritional science, feeding technology, and animal research, today we have a better understanding of the nutritional needs of dairy cows than ever before. Based on that knowledge, Trans-Energy has been developed to help optimize nutrition at crucial times during the production cycle. With specially designed formulations, Trans-Energy offers nutritional solutions to target specific challenges.

Trans-Energy Formula

With Trans-Energy as part of a feeding program, dairy producers can help ensure their animals are receiving all the essential nutrients they need during the demanding transition period from dry cow to early lactation. Trans-Energy contains ingredients that have been shown to reduce metabolic disorders like ketosis.

Benefits

• Provides simple energy and calcium propionate for greater blood glucose concentration. (calcium propionate is a volatile fatty acid and a precursor needed for milk production)
• Low potassium levels in Trans-Energy enhances anionic balance
• Trans-Energy contains Suppli-Mix for improved appetite, rate of gain, feed efficiency, and rumen fermentation
• Excellent palatability maintains or enhances dry matter intake
• Use more nutrients from the feedstuffs they consume while intake is being challenged and nutritional demands are increasing

Rumen Optimization Is The Key

As a result of its nutrition-enhancing effects, ultimately, Trans-Energy helps optimize a healthy rumen environment and function for the dairy cow. This allows animals to:
• Maintain or enhance dry matter intake.
• Use rations more effectively.
• Use more nutrients from the feedstuffs they consume while intake is being challenged and nutritional demands are increasing
